Dr. Krista E. Ortiz, PT, DPT, CLC

Dr. Ortiz holds a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College. She is a US Air Force Honorably Discharged Veteran and a graduate from the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School. She is certified in Life Coaching from the Life Coach Training Institute. She is also certified as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Practitioner. Dr. Ortiz has attended the Institute for Functional Medicine with a certificate of completion in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice. She has attended the Upledger Institute and completed CS-1 Assessment of Central Nervous System and Fascia for Full Body Treatment Protocol and CS-2 Moving Beyond the Dura for Assessing Acute and Chronic Conditions.  Lastly, Dr. Ortiz has been accepted into the 2024 American Academy of Manual Therapy (AAMT) Fellowship Program and has started 1 year of advanced training which will certify her in Spinal Manipulation, Dry Needling, Vestibular Concussions, and earning a Diploma in Osteopractic.

Dr. Ortiz is a dedicated lifelong learner and has a passion for treating root causes of physical dysfunction. She wholeheartedly believes that each of us are capable of anything we put our energy into and she is dedicated to helping you reach your maximum potential. 

In her off time Dr. Ortiz is a dog mom to an English Yellow Lab (Apollo) and Black Lab Mix (Ace). She loves traveling the world and playing poker competitively with her partner, Erik. 

Sherring Coaching and Wellness LLC is named after Krista's beloved grandparents (The Sherring's) who set the example for living a life of wellness, wholeness, love and maximizing ones potential.
