Meet Dr. Krista Ortiz

At Austin Osteopractic & Wellness, you'll always work one-on-one with me for your entire visit. Every treatment session is personalized to your goals, your body, and your recovery—never rushed, never passed off to an aide or technician.

I'm Dr. Krista Ortiz, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 9 years of experience helping people overcome pain, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. I completed advanced fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and earned the FAAOMPT credential—an achievement held by approximately 1% of physical therapists. This nationally recognized distinction reflects the highest level of clinical training in orthopedic physical therapy.

I founded Austin Osteopractic & Wellness because I believe patients deserve more than a quick appointment focused on symptoms alone. My approach combines advanced manual therapy, dry needling, movement analysis, strength and performance training, pain neuroscience, and evidence-based rehabilitation to identify and treat the true source of your pain or problem.

Whether you're recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic pain, trying to stay active, or looking to perform at your highest level, my goal is to provide the expertise, education, and individualized care needed to help you recover faster, move better, and achieve lasting results.
